How to delete an unwanted app from your iPad
Mood:  lucky
Topic: Things I wanna say

If you have installed an app for your iPad but not satisfied enough and you want to remove it from your screen to save your valuable space, what you can do?

Well it happened to me. You cannot right click on it and simply choose delete of course. But don't worry there is a little trick to be able to intervene which programs can stay and which ones should go away.

Follow these steps:

  1. Hold your home screen button for more than 3 seconds.
  2. Your homescreen icons begins to move or giggle.
  3. But there is now also a cross sign on right top of every icon that you have installed.
  4. Note that pre installed software like safari cannot be removed.
  5. Now simply click on the cross icon and delete the app.
  6. Voila! It's gone!

Up to now you are happy but what happens if you 2 year old toddler holds your home screen button for more than 3 sec and then in a very clever manner deletes your most wanted game? What you can do?

  1. Tell your child off.
  2. Press ctrl-z to undo in a keyboard without ctrl key.
  3. Ask your child why did she done that.

Don't worry I have tried them all but none worked. So I found my solution as follows:

  1. Go to your AppSore acount and try to download the same application.
  2. Do not worry to click on 0,99 or 2,99 buttons because you will not have to pay again.
  3. The system understands that you have already paid and delivers the app again to your iPad.
  4. Ok, kiss your child and tell her not to do it again if possible.

Comment if you like my post. Chiao.

Apple Mac Mini Review
Mood:  cool
Now Playing: MacOSX
Topic: Things I wanna say
Long ago after searching for many days in ebay all around the world (.com .co.uk .de) I bought my first mac mini from Germany to test drive. Further information on official website Well first things first it is surprisingly mini. You have to see it to understand how little it is. I hardly persuade my friends that the computer was that tiny white sexy box. A CD burner and a DVD reader inside together with 512MB ram and 40GB Hard disk drive. It was running MacOSX Panther but I wanted to test drive Tiger so I upgrade it. My attempt to upgrade with the DVD from an eMac that I bought failed. Apple makes its software check the model and do not run. I think this is ridiculous. Using a German keyboard is OK for English except Y and Z keys that are exchanged. I will talk about the software adventure later. So back to Mac Mini; The machine works really silent. That is incredible. Especially me that admires silence always. This machine is absolutely fabulous. My first negative shock except some software errors was that this machine is not suitable for voip! I mean skype simply doesn't work. Guess what? They did not install a mic input. There is just output. I wonder if it is possible with a USB mic that I don't have. After a few weeks I bought my LG 17" LCD monitor that really rocks with my mini. And the last piece was my wireless mouse "Chic" I recommend it also. LG LCD Flatron L1750S gives simply a fantastic view with 12ms response time. Don't forget to stick on its black part under the screen the white apple sticker that comes with your manuals in the Mac Mini package. The package itself is also tiny and so cool. The built-in speakers gives beeps and warnings but to listen to music they are definitely not enough. I mostly use in highest and it is still not enough. Thinking my 1.25Ghz Mac mini could also be with 1.42Ghz CPU with 1GB of Ram and wireless connection and blutooth and a DVD burner makes me exited. But you must be careful about the new Mac Minis with intel Core Duo CPU. Expect slow mac applications and do not expect anything from pre-MacOSX era (no OS 9 support!). As my last word I tested my Mac Mini 1.25Ghz in the office but I think it is one of the best living-room computers around.

Eating and your stomach
Mood:  not sure
Topic: Things I wanna say
"You are what you eat." As the sentence quickly explains (also probably the Muslims do not eat pork for this reason!)I have eaten something wrong apperently and my stomach wants to quit his job before my heart does. This means serious trouble. As I was on holiday 3 weeks ago, all my relatives offered lots of meal that I don't have the right to refuse. I have eaten more red-meat than I had eaten in the rest of the year so far. And after many other factors now is the result: My stomach aches. Constantly. Terribly. If your stomach aches like burning you need Gaviscon Liquidsyrup. After each meal and before sleeping. Take care not to eat red-meat, chili, spicy, chocolate, chips, and every other thing you might find delicious. Instead eat papas, rice and drink plain spring water. What a life! :)

My Rio mp3 player :)
Mood:  cheeky
Now Playing: dasding.de cool online radio
Topic: Things I wanna say
I use it since 2000, for nearly five years already!!

Rio 600 32 MB Digital Audio Player (MP3/WMA) by Rio
Price: $99.95

Yes I bought in early 2000 it is nearly five years. At that times this player was incredible and as I can see it is still around, and still so.. The memory was high that times now it is a little small but I put my best songs and it is enough for that. Since they are my best songs I repeat and repeat. It is robust great functioning but it consumes batteries terrible. Even it is off it consumes so take the batteries away. I bought NiMh batteries to charge and carry more than one in journeys. USB is very good and to put songs is a childs play. The software makes WMA's automatically from your CD's. Even cddb support is there. The colour the shape is still buzzy and awesome. The buttons are quality. A negative point: there is no radio. It would be better with radio. There is even playlist and other funcitons related that I found ridiculous because with just 32MB it is one playlist and it's enough.. maybe they thought about the legendery "backpacks" to boost the memory which is impossible to reach especially here in Turkey.. Sound quality is brilliant and crystal clear. A must for travellers and gadget lovers (that's me!:) By the way people repeatadly comment for iPod as a mega technological advance story.. I can't understand this, there were already dozens of gadgets like iPod when it was launched... I am gonna write on this later more.. Especially the new MacOS X Tiger!

Why I start my own Blog?
Mood:  hug me
Now Playing: Because it is simply the next big thing happening...
Topic: Things I wanna say
I like reading

I like to read around the web how people think, act, and try to do. How they make comments about the current events like a new war the USA has started or the new Pope selected.. Many ideas, many aspects. I was reading how a soldier in Vietnam trying to survive during a combat or how a software engineer is planning to earn lots of money...

I like writing

As you can imagine I also like writing. Not only I am an engineer and has to write reports project documents or technical specifications of an Abap/4 document or a children book series I am an editor of.. I also like to write -I say- to be consumed.

soon to come

* Many people said their comments on the new MacMini but I wanna say some more..
* The wireless mania is on and on and I am feeling microwaves every centimeter of my body..
* Turkey has been recorded as the fastest growing economy in 2004, I wanna name a few reasons
* The foreigners all around are facing deep problems, just a few comments about it..
and many more with your comments if I receive any it will be a long way and great to accomplish...
